Dear Brothers and Sisters,
As summer progresses, the Philadelphia Convention is fast approaching.
Hopefully everyone has a chance to enjoy a summer trip before we all gather for the Convention over Labor Day weekend.
The Brotherhood had a meeting on June 10th in Akron, Ohio and Chapter V.I. Chembithes hosted a lamb roast that day. I would like to thank them for their wonderful hospitality. It was a great time and a very nice event.
The Philadelphia Convention agenda looks great. As always, Chapter Atheras has really stepped up as the hosts and done a great job of planning a fun filled exciting convention for us.
As I noted in my last message, the room block is open. Make sure you book your rooms at Sheraton.com via their website link at ikariaphilly.com to ensure your room at the Convention.
Also, as I had noted before, please place an ad in the convention album. The album is the biggest source of income and contributes to the success of the convention and assistance for the Foundation. The deadline is fast approaching and only a few short days away on June 30th.
I would like to see all chapters place an ad to support our host Chapter.
The scholarship application is live and available on line. That deadline is also a short time away on July 1. All eligible students are encouraged to apply. Please make sure the application is fully completed to be eligible.
Please inform the lodge of any upcoming events your chapter may be having. We want to support all our chapters.
And since one of these messages would not be complete without our regular reminder for everyone to pay their dues, we are doing so now. If you have not yet paid your dues, please do so. If you have already paid, we thank you for the support that helps keep the Brotherhood strong. Remember, your chapter can claim boasting rites as the winner of the greatest percentage increase in membership.
