The port of Agios Konstantinos was the first stop of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who is touring the region of Fthiotida on Monday.
Mitsotakis concluded the inspection of the works at the port, with a budget of 9.8 million euros, which is part of the Public Investment Program and implemented by the Region of Central Greece.
The prime minister also had a short meeting with the managing director of the Mitsis Group, Stavros Mitsis, in Kamena Vourla, the second stop of his tour.
The Mitsis Group recently obtained through the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (TAIPED) competition the lease of the facilities for 40 years with the commitment to promote specific investments in hotels that had been abandoned.
