Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will attend the funeral of police officer Giorgos Lyggeridis in Thessaloniki on Friday. Lyggeridis, who was injured by a naval flare during clashes between sports fans and police in Rentis on December 7, died of his injuries in hospital several weeks later.
