The board of the assisted reproduction clinics Genesis Athens, Genesis Athens-Thessaly and Genesis Crete has decided to follow the example of global tech giants such as Apple, Google and Facebook and offer to freeze its employees ovums as a Christmas gift.
Genesis chose to make this special gift as a symbolic move that aims to set an example for other companies, while starting a discussion and raising awareness of the issue.
The board of GENESIS decided to henceforth offer the freezing of their ovums to all women working at its companies, giving them the opportunity to delay being mothers until they feel ready or until conditions in their life allow, within a reasonable space of time.
