A total of 60 people were arrested over the past six days for drug possession and trafficking in various areas of the city.
Police officers from the Thessaloniki Crime Suppression and Investigation Divisions, as well as the Rapid Response Unit, conducted ongoing checks from the afternoon of January 7, 2025, until the early hours of today. During this period, they apprehended 60 individuals, against whom charges were filed for violating drug laws. Authorities seized quantities of cannabis, heroin, cocaine, and prescription pills.
The arrested individuals, along with the charges against them, have been referred to the appropriate judicial authorities.
