121 days until the 2025 Pan-Icarian Convention hosted by the Chapter Foutrides in Chicago! The second mailer should be hitting your mailboxes next week – here is your big reminder to reserve your hotel room! Visit ikariachicago.com and click the Reserve Hotel button to use the group booking link OR call 1-877-303-0104 and mention the Pan-Icarian Brotherhood of America Supreme Convention to secure your reservation. Please be sure to use the dedicated booking link or phone number rather than booking directly through the Marriott website or main reservation line. This ensures you receive the guaranteed group rate and book within the hotel block.
If unable to make a reservation, please ensure you add your name to the waitlist (ikariachicago.com), so that the convention committee can adjust with the hotel. In the unfortunate circumstance, you need to cancel your hotel room please email questions@ikariachicago.com instead of going through the hotel. This will allow the convention committee to substitute the room with someone on the waitlist to ensure the room block stays with our members.
Additionally, the website (ikariachicago.com) provides a lot of information for the weekend, but most importantly, it offers opportunities to purchase raffle tickets for the chance to win hotel stays for the weekend, dance tickets, and banquet tickets! And details on the commemorative ad book and sponsorship. I highly encourage each chapter, family, and business to participate in submitting an ad to ensure Chapter Foutrides is fully supportive of hosting a successful convention. The next Pan-Icarian Youth monthly meeting will take place on May 6th, 8 pm EST – Join HERE (1st Tuesday of the month meeting). The service project committee of the Pan-Icarian Youth are organizing the 2025 Ikaria Annual Youth Summer Service – Beach Cleanup. To effectively plan our Summer Service Beach Cleanup in Ikaria, we’d like to get some information from you. If you’re going to Ikaria this summer, please fill out this survey! We are looking for a chapter to host the 2026 Youth Leadership Conference! Please reach out to the Supreme Lodge for any questions you may have, and how the Lodge and youth may serve to alleviate these concerns. All bids are to be submitted no later than August 29th, and the youth will plan to discuss and vote on the bids at the 2025 Supreme Convention. July is right around the corner! The goal is to have all members pay their Chapter dues by June 2025, so please submit your chapter membership. The Per Capita Chapter dues can be sent to Supreme Treasurer Sophia Facaros no later than July 1, 2025. Automatic renewals and membership payments can be made through our website! Let’s strive to beat last year’s record of 2,086 members strong!! Please don’t run on “Ikarian Time”. Convention Delegate Forms and Chapter Officer Forms will be emailed to your chapter leadership in the upcoming weeks. If you’re interested in serving as a delegate at the convention, please ensure your membership is submitted and let your chapter know!
The Supreme Lodge will hold its 3rd and final meeting of the year on Saturday, June 21st, in Wilmington, NC, hosted by Chapter Therma #10. If you have any concerns or topics you would like the Supreme Lodge to discuss, please reach out to us, and we will add them to our agenda.
