Greetings from Ikaria! I am happy to report that I was able to meet with the mayor, visit the hospital, see the work of the youth service project, and so much more while still enjoying the panigiria and my daily μπάνιο.

On July 23rd the Pan-Icarian Youth gathered at the Agios Kirikos Hospital and planted over 90 plants and flowers. It looks absolutely beautiful and I highly encourage everyone to visit and check out their incredible work. TODAY August 1st the Pan-Icarian Youth are meeting for the Beach Clean-Up at Agia Kiriaki at 5pm local Ikaria time. Please join us for the service project and a swim after. “Come for the project and stay for the parea!” Directions can be found via google maps or just follow the airport road and signs. We are asking our members and chapters to contribute and donate to this year’s annual philanthropic project – The 2025 Pan Icarian Brotherhood of America Fundraiser, sponsored by the Supreme Lodge, is focused on replacing the roof of the Kountouma Village Social Hall, which has suffered extensive damage from termites and rain. This hall is more than just a building—it’s a cherished gathering place for the community and an essential part of village life.
