European Chief Prosecutor Laura Kövesi, head of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO), is expected to visit Athens shortly.
During her stay in Athens, the European chief prosecutor will meet with ministers, other government officials and the Supreme Court head, and will visit the offices of the European Prosecutor.
Specifically, Kövesi will meet with Justice Minister Giorgos Floridis on her request for additional staff at the European Prosecutor’s Office in Greece. She will also meet with National Economy & Finance Minister Kyriakos Pierrakakis, and with Supreme Court Chief Prosecutor Konstantinos Tzavellas, among others.
