Dear Brothers and Sisters,
I hope you all had a fun and festive Halloween and that October treated you kindly! As the leaves turned and the air grew crisp, our Brotherhood carried the energy and connection from this year’s convention into a new season of reflection and community.
October was a month of fresh beginnings and steady progress as everyone settled into their new roles for the 2025–2026 year. I’m deeply proud of the dedication and collaboration I’ve seen from our officers and chapters alike — it’s clear that our shared commitment to the Pan-Icarian Brotherhood remains as strong as ever.
We once again extend heartfelt thanks to Chapter #8 Foutrides in Chicago, IL, for hosting such a memorable and successful convention in September. Their dedication, warmth, and hospitality truly captured the spirit of our Brotherhood. Many thanks also go to all the volunteers, chapters, and members of the Supreme Lodge and Foundation who worked together to make the weekend such a success. The minutes from the business meetings will be included in the next issue of the magazine for those who wish to review them.
Looking ahead, the Supreme Lodge will hold its first in-person meeting on November 22nd in Pittsburgh, PA. We’re looking forward to coming together, reviewing our goals for the year, and continuing the important work of supporting our chapters and communities.
We are also eagerly anticipating the 2026 Convention, which will be hosted by Chapter Eirini #28 of S/E Virginia in Virginia Beach. Please support their ongoing raffle ticket fundraiser, available now at pan-icarian.com/chapter-eirini-convention-raffle-tickets — there will be three lucky winners!
A quick reminder that the deadline for bids for the 2028 Convention is November 30th, 2025. We encourage any chapters interested in hosting to submit their bids by that date. Helpful resources and guidelines can be found at pan-icarian.com/about/constitution-and-related-documents. As always, the Supreme Lodge is here to assist with any questions or guidance you may need.
We’re also excited to share that Chapter #11 Lychnos of San Francisco, CA, will host the 2026 Youth Leadership Conference from May 1–3, 2026. It’s shaping up to be a wonderful weekend of learning, leadership, and connection for our young members.
Be sure to visit the News section of our website (pan-icarian.com/news) for chapter updates, fall event highlights, and a recap of the Chicago Convention. The next magazine submission deadline is November 1st — you can find details at pan-icarian.com/magazine or email magazine@pan-icarian.com.
As we close out October and look ahead to the Thanksgiving season, let’s take a moment to appreciate the fellowship and family that unite us. Wishing everyone a cozy, joyful November — full of warmth, good company, and maybe a few leftover Halloween treats!
With gratitude and fraternity,
Evangelos J. Fragos
Supreme Lodge President
Pan-Icarian Brotherhood of America
