Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has indicated that the government is willing to engage in dialogue with farmers.
During his visit to Markopoulo, Attica, the Greek premier urged farmers to present a clear representation and specific demands. “ We are here to do the best we can,” he said, adding that protests should take into account the wider society.
Commenting on the political situation, he stressed that “ Greece today is a much better country than the one we inherited in 2019. We are listening to citizens’ messages, which is why we are taking targeted action.”
