“The initiative of the President of the European Commission to immediately mobilise significant resources for the agricultural sector amounting to 45 billion euros within the framework of the new Multiannual Financial Framework is a substantial step in support of Greek and European farmers. This is a proposal that shows that the voice of Greece in Europe is heard louder and clearer,” Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis pointed out in a post on Wednesday.
“We continue, consistently, to support a strong Common Agricultural Policy for the period 2028-2034. Because for us, the present and future of the primary sector is a national priority,” the prime minister emphasised in his post.
