Farmers continue protests

Farmers continue their protests at the roadblock in Nikaia, Larissa, maintaining actions that affect traffic on the Athens-Thessaloniki national highway. Since Monday, the Nikaia interchange flyover in the direction of Thessaloniki has remained closed. The police are implementing temporary traffic arrangements with diversions. Drivers are asked to follow the signs and instructions of the authorities.

Farmers also remain at roadblocks in Western Thessaly, on the E65 in Karditsa, and at the Loggos toll booths, also on the E65 in Trikala. The farmers held meetings at which they decided to escalate their protests. Specifically, on Thursday, they will go to Mourgkani, where they will implement a 48-hour blockade. Farmers in Karditsa have decided on Thursday to drive their tractors to Brallos, Fthiotida to block all routes to and from Athens.
