A mild 4.5-magnitude earthquake shook waters south of Crete Saturday at 6:31 p.m., the National Observatory of Athens’ Geodynamic Institute reported.
The epicenter was located 36 kilometers southwest of Paleochora in Hania.
Authorities reported no immediate damage or injuries.
