Archbishop Symeon of Sinai announced on Saturday that he will sign an agreement with the Egyptian government concerning St Catherine’s Monastery on Mount Sinai.
He cited the support of the Patriarchates of Constantinople, Alexandria and Jerusalem, as well as the Churches of Cyprus and Greece, for the signing of the agreement.
