In light of the upcoming “EKO Acropolis Rally 2024” taking place at the Motorist Service Station Malakassa R/Sirios on Saturday, the Hellenic Police announced a temporary and complete traffic ban on trucks with a maximum allowable weight of over 3.5 tons. The restriction will be in effect from 4:00 pm on Saturday until 6:00 am on Sunday affecting both directions of the Athens-Lamia National Highway between the Agios Stefanos interchange and kilometer marker 57.300 (border of Attica and Boeotia regions).
The traffic measures may be extended or modified depending on prevailing traffic conditions.The police urge drivers to cooperate and follow traffic signals and the instructions of officers on duty.
