Two workers at a tire repair shop in the southern Peloponnese region were fatally electrocuted Monday when a crane they were using got tangled in an overhead power line, officials said.
The accident occurred near Aghios Andreas in the Kynouria area of the eastern Peloponnese. The precise details were not immediately clear, but reports said the men had been operating a telescopic crane to shift heavy tires and were electrocuted after it touched a high tension cable above the repair shop.
