A six-year-old child died Thursday in a swimming pool at a rental room complex in southern Greece as his mother was cleaning the premises.
The 32-year-old woman had taken the boy with her to work and he is believed to have wandered off while she was busy cleaning and ended up dead in the pool.
The accident occurred near Pylos in the southwestern Peloponnese.
Police are holding an investigation.
